Adding a Person

Adding a person to your workspace is the first step — and it doesn't require them to have an account yet.


How to add a person

There are two ways to add someone to Workloom.

Option 1: Add manually

  1. Go to People in the sidebar

  2. Click Add person

  3. Fill in their details:

    • First and last name

    • Email address

    • Job title (optional but recommended)

  4. Click Save


Option 2: Add from a resume

  1. Go to People

  2. Click Add by resume

  3. Upload a CV or resume

  4. Review the extracted information:

    • Check details like name, email, and experience

    • Adjust anything if needed

  5. Click Save

That’s it. The person now exists in your workspace — with or without a login..


What happens after you add them?

After saving, you'll be on their profile page. From here you can:

  • Add a contract
  • Set up leave policies
  • Send an invitation to give them workspace access

They won't receive any notification just from being added. Nothing is sent until you explicitly invite them.

tip

Add the person first, set up their contract, then invite. That way everything is ready when they log in for the first time.
