Insights

Beyond the day-to-day widgets, the dashboard surfaces insights that help you spot patterns and make better decisions about your team.

What counts as an insight?

Insights are observations Workloom derives from your data — things you might not notice unless you were looking for them.

Examples:

  • "3 contracts are expiring in the next 30 days" — so you can take action before they lapse
  • "Leave usage is up 40% compared to last month" — helpful for spotting burnout or seasonal patterns
  • "5 people have no active contract" — a signal that something might be missing in your records

How to use insights

Insights are meant to prompt action, not just inform. Each insight links directly to the relevant section — click through to see the detail and decide what to do.

You don't need to configure anything. Workloom generates insights automatically based on the data in your workspace.

Why some insights won't appear

If your workspace is new or your data is sparse, you'll see fewer insights — there simply isn't enough information to draw patterns from yet.

As you add more people, contracts, and leave history, the insights section becomes more useful over time.

Acting on an insight

Most insights have a clear next step:

  • Expiring contract → open the contract, set a new end date or create a renewal
  • Missing contract → open the person's profile and add one
  • Leave spike → review the Leave section to see who's out and when
tip

Insights are most powerful when your data is complete. Make sure people have contracts and leave policies assigned — the more information Workloom has, the more useful it can be.
